Thanks for sharing! … Thanks for sharing! I really want to understand this disorder because my favorite actress (Vivien Leigh) (she was popular in old black and white films around the 1930’s and 40’s), had bipolar disorder/manic depression and it really took a toll on her career and personal life, especially with her husband. But she was such an inspiration and such a sweet person. I wonder if you’ve seen any of her movies? She’s best known for playing Scarlett O’ Hara in “Gone With the Wind”.
Thanks for sharing. … Thanks for sharing. I know it can be tough. I’m 72 and have been bipolar (that I know of) since I spent 7 months in a mental hospital in the sixties. I’m ZzBob777 and I just posted a video blog that you might find interesting. Wishing you all the best.
I relate a lot to … I relate a lot to you in many ways, though I haven’t been diagnosed as bi-polar. I do have panic disorder, anxiety disorder, & an eating disorder (which I’m finally getting under real control.)
Are you taking … Are you taking anything to help with sleep? I take calcium, magnesium, potassium– SAVES MY LIFE. I’ve tried other kinds and haven’t had luck, let me know if you want a website where you can try the same brand I do. Make sure to take high-quality vitamins throughout the day too. Even though those things don’t fix the problem (at all), they help to feel more balanced.
i have the same … i have the same problems, especially the getting to sleep bit!! i haven’t got bipolar (or haven’t been diagnosed) but my mum has bipolar. so i get what your going through. You are doing really well coping with mental illnesses that not many people understand but that are really really difficult to deal with everyday. x
its also hard being … its also hard being shy w/ bipolar disorder b/c u feel nervous even if you are at your good stage. or having anxiety bc anxiety can take over no matter being manic or depressive at times. but sometimes its your personality that will lead you to either side. its horrible when you break up with someone:(
i feel really tired … i feel really tired all the time, not on any meds though.
you can cover up the symptoms by just caring for other people, it really works… some of it is in your head but a lot of it is chemical reasons in your brain.
some bipolar people will have other mental disorders too and not just being bipoloar, which can change moods a lot.
Its good to know … Its good to know that other people can relate to some of the feelings and symptoms that I have. Its a day to day struggle, and some times can be too much to handle. I just wish people who don’t have bipolar were more compassionate and understanding.
what a stupid … what a stupid statement to come out with, how can someone so pretty have bipolar???? What has pretty got to do with having bipolar???? It’s a chemical imbalance in the brain! Wow, some people are that superficial they turn into dumb fucks!!!
I have wild mood … I have wild mood swings myself. Your story sounds like mine. I haven’t been diagnosed with bipolar disorder but I’m pretty sure I have it.
